tho it is smaller than emacs, which seems to be the major point. ;)

perhaps they ought to symlink e3vi (vi personality of the tiny e3 editor.
the nedit mode is very newbie-friendly, btw) to /bin/vi.
or you could do that to your own system (haven't actually tried it, and
don't have access to a box with e3 on it at this instant).
