        Could you advertise this more widely, say in the bug reports themselves?

        If you had done so, you would have saved lots of people lots of hassle.

        Ideally you would be able to retract pan 0.14 from unstable, as 
it is basically useless.  I don't know if Debian has such a retraction
possibility?
