I've done it, and also added copyright notices to some examples/*.init 
files, and left only xml.init and book.init in the public domain, since
the other aren't really useful as examples.

You cannot satisfy everyone with the defaults, customization requires 
rewriting some functions, and it is very handly to have a template to
use.
