I think conversion to lossy audio formats should be handled by external
software. But, in the future one could add support for this in traverso,
so that it uses external software like 'lame' to automatically convert
exported WAV's to other formats. But I don't think this is so important,
 there's no special reason one would need this functionality in traverso
since you can do it with other apps.
