Right. Basically, you can only exit at points where you can also save
the game. (As it was easier to disable the main menu completely instead
just the save option). It's impossible to save the state in mid
dialogue, so ESC is disabled at those points.

In future versions, quitting at any point should be possible. However, I
doubt we'll implement saving in mid dialogue; that's not really worth
the effort, I think.
