You'll need automake 1.6. If you still get those error messages when
running autogen.sh

    configure.in: 4515: required file `./_AM_File,.in' not found
    configure.in: 4515: required file `./[$2],.in' not found
    configure.in: 4515: required file `./[$3])].in' not found

you should run automake-1.6 manually afterwards. Then do the
configure and everything should be fine!
