Thanks. I wasn't thinking of cloning, om_gtk, but teach a course in Java
for audio applications (using JSyn). I want to put something into my
course (not necessarily a lecture, maybe 'additional notes that will not
be examined') where Java is used to control some sound generating engine
other than JSyn. OSC control of om-synth would be a good example. There
seem to be a number of libraries for OSC in Java, which would be a leg
up. Rather than build a gui, I'd be more likely to do something more
akin to JSyn itself where various sound generating and processing units
can be manipulated as objects in the language.
