Follow-up Comment #11, sr #110195 (project gnuastro):

This seems to be a very good progress Sachin! But just two things: 

1. Discussion on the particular task should be done under that task, not here
;-). Here we just want to have general GSoC discussions prior to choosing a
special task.

2. Have you tried adding the changes in the code (on a new Git branch),
compiling it and trying the new operator? The best way to see what to do is
usually to start compiling the changes and seeing the result. When its not yet
complete, you can just put a `printf' statement and fill it gradually. This is
also easier for me to check: I can just pull your branch, try it out and give
more practical comments.

But anyway, let's move the discussion on this special task to its own page
;-).

Arithmetic has become one of the most widely used programs in Gnuastro, so its
great that you are mastering it, we look forward to adding many more
operators.
