About the registration forms, I have added logic at the Smarty templates to
get the current very very simple registration forms although keeping the full
update forms. The registration and the update form follow being the
same .tpl file.

Those update forms are not very large, so I think showing they _always_ as a
full view will not scare.

I would like you take a look at the registration and update forms. If you
agree I will commit it.

P.S.: I will reply to other subjects exposed at this email when time allow me.

P.S.: Warning: The Logic URIs transition is not 100% ready yet.
