    jobs.gnu.org seems a very good option.  However, the association's side of =
    the=20
    project matches more with the gnuherds.org domain name.  Perhaps we could=20
    keep using gnuherds.org as the main domain and point jobs.gnu.org to=20
    gnuherds.org?

To use both names is ok, but then what name should the pages tell the user
they are looking at?  Perhaps they could say both.
