Hi Guys,
I'm trying to install my nvidia drivers in Mandrake 9.1 and I need to stop the
X server
Simply logging out doesn't give me an exit point.
If I boot up in failsafe and text mode then I can, but the driver works for
the standard kernel and not the win4lin kernel, so I think I need to boot out
of win4lin into level 3 ?how.
Andre's given me a few hints but havn't had time yet to try his, so am
collecting other ideas in the meantime in between patients in case his sn't
work, till I can sit down and do it next week.
This wasn't previously a problem when nvidia supplied the rpms, but how they
have some sort of script and doesn't seem to work the same.
Thanks
Richard
