Just jumped in joy finding out that the newest version of Umbrello, the KDE
UML modeller, supports now Python and SQL code generation as well (as Java,
C, C++, PHP and several others).
That means that we should consider modelling classes of general interest with
Umbrello, and have the code then autogenerated for the language of your
choice. Will not only make documentation of code and workflow a lit easier,
but also speed up development of ports to other languages. The expected
benefits are countless.
Please, everybody start familiarizing with UML and Umbrello. Not a must yet,
but a nice option for the future.
Those with Debian systems:
add
#KDE from CVS
deb http://oberlin.cems.umn.edu/kdecvs/debian ./
to your /etc/apt/sources.list
to get all the new nice toys like Umbrello and Gideon (KDevelop with Python
support) etc.
