Still it may be a Good Thing to handle that via an XML-RPC
"contacts" server such that a uniform API is presented to the
various frontends (that of an XML-RPC server, that is, which
we [will] also use for, say, drugref.org). Thus we wouldn't
clutter client sources with code for accessing two different
kinds of servers...
