Yes. The table is designed to hold arbitrarily detailed types
at a local sites leisure. Upgrade procedures need to be aware
of the user perhaps having modified the table content by doing
an upgrade programmatically rather than by dump/reload. But
this is mandatory anyways. Also, scripts should not rely
certain entries having certain primary keys if at all
avoidable.
