I just *knew* I shouldn't have asked ;-))

Anyway, here's something that may be a start:

This will also help a bit:

        select * from clin.v_emr_journal where pk_patient = ...;

Also, GNUmed features an XML-RPC API so if Emacs speaks that
it can remote-control GNUmed.

OTOH, what would your *specific* use case be for interfacing
GNUmed with Emacs ?
