1) The Allergy panel on opening continues by default to be mis-sized
(screenshot). Any chance that the fix that was applied to (and which
fixed -- beautifully) the Reports generator sizing problem could also
be applied to the editing windows?

2) Within the Demographics plugin, it is the patient's contact
information that will much more often need to be viewed than the
identities. How about simply reversing the sequence of tabs:
Identity ... Contacts
which would anyway be natural on the basis that
- "Identity" is the more "foundational" of the two
- identity is created first
- identity, once created, is not often touched, whereas Contacts gets
frequently examined and altered
I do acknowledge that the secondary e.g. insurance identifiers will
also frequently get looked at, but even so would make the small
change above. In practice, whatever was last selected by the user
seems will be remembered for the rest of that GNUmed session.
