GNUmed on Tiger looks different. There is no X (for X11) in the top bar and
the buttons look Macish blue instead of the GTK look you have.
You have a bit of testing before you.
If I had a Mac I would clean all ports. Then I would install them with the
default options/variants which *do not include* universal as far as I know.
For wxpython I would check different variants.
It just occured to me that you are using py26. While this is fine I guess it
is different from what is on Tiger. So if you have a chance you all the py25
packages instead of py26 packages.
I recommend you install porticus as it will let you select the variants (which
you will not have to)
When all this fails we will slowly step by step go at debugging.
