whoops yes you're right, do a git pull now.

btw i am fighting with keep-alives.  i am trying to turn a non-keep-alive
HTTP "front" into an always-kept-alive HTTP "back", via the proxy.

at the moment, the 2nd HTTP query over the kept-alive connection barfs.
