I have just rectified the failure to specify (in my ICD9 data pack) that the
language is 'en'
Before uploading, shall I update it to understand the possibility of more than
one entry where
name_short = 'ICD-9'
for example, these same ICD-9 codes could exist in ref.data_source under some
other language?
However I do not think
ref.icd9
can have multiple values for the same code, therefore the question of
resolution of term-language conflicts against the same code, within the same
coding system in a single praxis database.
Whereas TALLman only changes the *case* of medication names, would a change of
ICD9 terms to another language (while keeping the code the same) be
(un)acceptable?
