No he didn't, procfs was already in hurdextras.
So is this momentum the same momentum that gnumachrevival got?
Apologies for the negativity but we tend to be a lot of talk :-)
Well, you get facts this time since there were several patched
translators, and several should go into the archive soon (trivruby,
pytrivfs, and perhaps the bpf translator).
I'll try to maintain most translators (i.e., make sure they work when
Hurd interfaces get changed / once every few months), but I can't say
I'll add new feature to every of them. I have plans to work on gopherfs
(make it work without crashing GNU Mach ;-), xmlfs (add write support -
I wrote that one) and procfs.
It'll be a real momentum if you guys start testing these translators and
sending (even small) patches - I'll make sure they're committed in a
timely fashion.
