Follow-up Comment #4, bug #65431 (group octave):

I attached a zip.  I ran 8.2.0 win10 64x software rendering.   Thanks.  

There are two plots generated from the m file in the attachment. 

(1) no crash - see note below.  

(2) crash - For 8.2.0, 100% success rate in causing a crash after the plot is
generated.  I generated the ofig submitted previously in the script. Sometime
the crash developed when the figure toolbox was in use.  Sometime, there was
no need to do anything.  Octave gui crashed by itself shortly after.  

Note: There is an additional ofig, sphere_no_crash_8_4.ofig, saved from 8.4.0
(win10 64x hardware rendering) after the no_crash ofig loaded.  The rotate
tool rotated the colorbar only.
