Hmm... same with the main Gentoo tree's pan-0.132-r1, so it must indeed 
be a either a problem with the libraries being compiled with gcc-4.3.0, 
or a recent upgrade elsewhere (IIIRC glib recently upgraded, maybe its 
new version is compile incompatible with current pan) -- and now pan 
won't compile with either 4.3.0 or 4.2.3, either the 0.132-r1 version or 
SVN.  The binary I compiled previously still works, however, so I just 
can't upgrade or downgrade ATM.
