Si, in questo caso  /dev/hdc

Allora mi sa che un bel

ln -s /dev/hdc /dev/cdrom

e

ln -s /dev/hdc /dev/dvd

potrebbe aiutare...

Ripeto: io *non* uso udev ma uso i /dev "fissi" ( = non dinamici). La
Vecchia Via insomma... ;)

Per la questione permessi, io ho il mio utente nel gruppo "disk"  ed ho
assegnato quel gruppo come proprietario dei vari devices
cd/dvd/masteratori. Per capirsi: 

address@hidden:~$ ls -l /dev/hdc
brw-rw----  1 root disk 22, 0 2002-06-09 21:27 /dev/hdc
