Hm. I guess we could attribute certain effects to different sorts of
gems and the like. There's probably plenty of esoteric material
available on the web that we could use for inspiration. But as we're
talking about alchemy here, I should also make use of other ingredients.
Various plants and parts of animals. Although I guess latter would be
rather for the evil/offensive potions.

Does anyone feel like doing some research in order to come up with some
potions and required ingredients?

Components? Like, a magic focus or spell ingredients or something? We
were thinking of something along that lines a while ago, but we didn't
really come to a final result.

OTOH, according to the current rules magic involves already quite some
stuff. A certain rank in the according elements to be able to learn the
spell. Then one must obtain the actual spell. It might be a bit much if
casting the spell has even more requirements (apart from the power it
drains).

Good question. Maybe not during the game, but as a possible ending.

That's a good way of putting it, actually :). Yeah, I think it would be
quite similar to that.

Well, the 'ordinary' things. Fighting with the weapons and using the
potions we'll include. Spells or songs would require extra code and
graphics. OTOH, it might not be as work as it seems, in which case we
should be able to include some :).
