Hello all,
i'm back and up again :) and here's my newest idea:
Should we forward bug reports to the devel mailing list ?
I think yes it's some more traffic, but then, devel list could afford that.
We devel subscribers would get more aware of users of the released version,
instead of being rather svn-sided. It could encourage us to look into some bug
report now and then, trying to reproduce, maybe come up with some proposal how
to handle the report, which hopefully could spare Piotr some mind work.
There must be a way to include a default CC in bugzilla: claws-mail-users
already does it.
Here is how it looks like: http://lists.sunsite.dk/cgi-bin/ezmlm-cgi/28
Good mailing list maintenance (of course, they are specialists).
They have engaged beta testers, and nice customs, for example, successful
compilations of new versions, for any platform, are immediately reported, which
is a nice encouraging feedback for developers.

ps: They don't see a need to divide into -users and -devel. There's only
-users, and -translators. I wonder if we should not follow this example, too.
btw. If you run Linux, and are a hacker, then i recommend claws-mail above
anything else.
It is specially strong when it comes to 'plug in' actions or shell-scripts, and
has a specific strong and easy filter-expression language.
