>From the parsing perspective, field does make more sense. However, in
the end, all the fields do become certificates which is a crucial part
of the monotone model and what monotone calls them. Anyone using
monotone is eventually going to have to understand certificates.
Regardless of what the help text calls them, I think their purpose is
obvious.
