heh, don't worry only death will stop me, I just have less to say when I'm not
actually contributing code - I still dl most releases and have a look.

But since you're encouraging me, USE CVS AT SAVANNAH!

Even if you're the only person with modification rights, I know it's a bit more
effort but cvs exists for good reasons. Savannah would be another mirror and
cvs makes it easy to jump around with code version etc etc

Eat you're brussel sprouts, damnit. :)

Anyway I'll give you an idea of what I'm working towards so you know I haven't
left. Been going to a class I'm not enrolled in "Compilers", silly I know but
the things you do for palito, so I can get more of a handle on how flush is
done etc but primarily with the goal of getting group notation into palito.

You know how much I love my group commands and detest the micro management of
starcraft. Anyway this is a very long term thing (prolly never stop refinning
it)so you could apply formations to groups which are very spercific, spilt
groups on any number of attributes or combinations, say merge 3 groups into 2
groups for spercific purposes ... make sure groups have x% air defense etc etc
anything a human does at the moment by hand but just can't manage on the macro
scale.

yeah basically just put group notation in rts.

Personally I can't think of anything cooler or useful, but I'm yet to find a
library for group notation. So unless someone finds something I'm going to
have to try write it myself.

At the very least this would allow ppl to modify/add the standard group
commands without having to edit code.

I think that made sense,
