I'm not going to respond directly to that. I want to defuse
the situation and find a mutually-beneficial way to work
together. Re-escalating it into flames won't help.

I was merely making an observation that co-operation
is useless if nothing compells the parties to be
co-operative. I also observed that the differences
in API's aren't my fault: it is impolite for Mono to
complain about incompatibilities that they created.

The DateTime issue is an example of the failure of
communication between the parties. The lead
developers don't talk to each other, except to snipe.
I stand by my request that Miguel make the next move.

I'm willing to let bygones be bygones. My hand
is out, but Miguel has to choose to shake it. But
let me be clear: the offer needs to be more than
"We are happy to accept contributions". My
question has always been: "What are you willing
to give up to have me help you?"

Cheers,

Rhys.
