If you think that some feature is useful, but Rhys doesn't want to
accept it, you always have the option of maintaining an unofficial
patch that provides the feature.  The main thing is that we don't
introduce into the main codebase any complexity that gets into the
way of what Rhys and the developers that he has appointed are doing.
