It was not about that $libdir as i know how that expands, but more to the differing paths thereunder: plpgsql/ vs pgsql on mandriva. But doesn't matter.
So i will remove anything else than that line from postgresql.conf.Yes, but no. That one line will have to go in pg_hba.conf, not postgresql.conf.
Actually postgresql on mandriva comes only with postgresql.conf,and an example pg_hba.conf. Am i right in assuming _hba stands for host based autentication?
So i'll change this to be added in pg_hba.conf.
