Hi all, Is there any benefit to make GNUmed install via python setup.py build / install ? here is what comes to mind. a) different distributions have a common base to work off b) the maintainer of setup.py will have to be responsible for all the little differences between distros. Or do the setuptools for python of each distro know where to put the files for each distro. Is setuptools on Debian aware of python-support while this package does not exist on openSUSE ? What are the pros and cons ? Sebastian
