 Yes. I guess I would just call those different roles. 
 syslog-simple
 syslog-ng
 syslog-ng-tunneling

 There are many different ways to set up the systems.

 But there are some classical ways to do it.

 The way that I think about it:

 if you were going to set your system up by going to an ISP,
 clicking on the "give me a site" web page and you had a bunch
 of clicky boxes for selecting the roles you wanted each host
 to play, what would the clicky boxes have in them?

 And what text input fields would you need to enable them
 to do it correctly. 

 Assume that all they want is the role. As much as possible
 should be derived from the structure of the system, or by
 the decisions made in the cf.engine configurations.
