Info manuals are very frequently used as a reference, by looking up
the subject via the 'Info-index' ('i') command, and reading only
there.  This is a much more frequent paradigm than reading of the
manual from top to bottom, chapter after chapter.  When using a manual
as a reference, that half-sentence will not be read, and the result
will confuse the reader.

So I still urge you to reconsider.
