This is a plea for a kill/score on article *and all the replies*. This
would deal nicely with some groups I read where the signal is hidden by the
noise of trolls and the people responding to them.
It's a bit more tricky than it looks. Starting is easy (match, say, the
troll's name). Then Pan needs to save a temporary rule to kill all articles
that mention the original that message-id in References. But in long
threads, that original message-id will drop off the list in References:
So you need a rule that says "match if any of this list of message-ids are
in References *and* add the message-id of any matches to that list of
message-ids for next time". And since this was a temporary rule caused by
the original match of the troll's article, it probably needs to expire/be
automatically deleted at some point.
Any chance? It would turn some groups from almost unreadable to very
manageable.
