If I put a notice on my Web site (once the patch is available), will that

This isn't possible: pnetC won't build, let alone install, at the moment.  
Besides, the bug is in pnet, not pnetC.

Once I have a patch from Jonathan that fixes the MacOSX issue, I'll evaluate 
what to do with it.
