It is available and is accessible from LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

When the line 
 window.Expose += new ToolkitExposeHandler(Expose);
is commented, I get an X window.

But when I uncomment it, I do get a window but immediately followed by the 
exception which was mailed earlier.
