Not sure what means an "open office" presentation... do you mean
*specifically* the OpenOffice software (word processor, spreadsheet
etc suite) or do you mean a medical office / clinic etc that is
running different kinds of free software (which could be OpenOffice or
it could be other software).
Sorry for writing so fast and imprecisely... I was thinking in preparing
the meeting in the usual way:
1. Speech: 30-45'
. Following a suitable document specifically elaborated.
. Together with a visual presentation (in OpenOffice-Impress
format or something similar). Thanks for the link of LateX Beamer,
Andreas, though I'm afraid is really difficult for me to prepare the
presentation in latex :(
2. GnuMed living from laptop: 20'
3. Dicussion, proposal, ideas, feedback... required '
A white paper is usually taken as an "authoritative report". What is
it you wish dealt with in a white paper? Are you thinking something
like the benefits of open source software for health care, or what
gnumed specifically hopes to achieve?
We could begin with the introduction about the benefits of open source
software for health care and then go on with GnuMed option specifically ;)
Would the FAQs help )or be enough) for a presentation?

Of course!
I would gladly participate in writing things for humans and helping
with checking English for non-native English speakers. My only concern
would be that I don't understand enough of GnuMed technically to write
it myself but could help identify the KINDS of content people might
want and could then ask for contributions for those answers.
Thanks!! We can work together, and everyone is invited also ;). He know
little about IT so I imagine we should focus for the perspective of a
clinical manager who is interested in its use and deployment and just
extend on technical details at the end or as a complement...
Best regards,
carlos
