Ubuntu does offer GNUstep:http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=gnustep&searchon=names&suite=maverick§ion=allI don't know how up-to-date it is, but it's there.
It appears to be old.I just checked PRICE... it lists 0.8.3, that's from August 2008!! 1.0.0 was released in August 2010....
