Follow-up Comment #80, bug #31080 (group octave):

I again repeated my testing with the new function file on the root of another
NTFS drive using my Octave 10.0.0. A new file bug4.m was created in the root
of my D: drive and this file was executed successfully immediately after
creation.

I also repeated my testing creating a new file bug5.m in my Documents folder
on my OneDrive. That file was also executed correctly after creation.

I would say this bug seems to be fixed using the current Octave 10.0.0 source.


I'm somewhat concerned that the current format of the stat output is less
useful than it used to be, but that should be another bug report.
