Hmm. The Revolut-screenshot you posted does show those amounts with the
"-" sign.  Also, wouldn't showing them in 'red' be psychologically
better, assuming the goal is to highlight a _loss_?

"psychologically" is a really big word ;) I really don't know about that. But I can see your point, so if you feel strongly about keeping the minus sign and using red for outgoing transactions, by all means go for it. I've attached a mockup incorporating the sign and red colour. Let's see you think.

I can see why other
Apps might not do this (they want to encourage blind spending). For me,
"red" here simply has the right  emotional connotations.

Finally, with 'tips' (earnings!) and refunds, the dominance of outgoing
transactions may not be as strong for Taler as it is for credit cards.
