For example. Another idea is that you couldn't just distribute the point
as you like, but need to take an actual 'lesson' at an actual
teacher/trainer or whatever person. While it wouldn't be hard to find
someone to teach the first few steps in a certain skill, a master or
extraordinary talented NPC would be much harder to come by and please.

Remains the question whether you guys like that sort of thing. I
personally am for it, as it offers lots of opportunities for subquests
and gives more meaning to our NPC's. It integrates the role playing
system better into the game world and helps in balancing it. 


But well, lets hear what Nils and others think.
