Wait a minute, define "seeing an implementation"...

I work in a place that has an MSDN copy of visualstudio.Net that I don't
use and have never seen.  And, to add to that, how are we going to create
a competitor to .Net if we can't "see an implementation" of it?

Can somebody clearify this for me or is MS really doing what I think
they're doing?
