Of course we should initially work with what is already GPL'ed. An
initial target list is easily compiled from a perusal of the listing of
GPLed software on the FSF pages, as well as projects of FreeDevlopers.
Some of these developers, surprisingly are not involved in our
conversations.

When we have an alpha development version of at least the auth/data
system done, we should invite the masters of targetted projects to
participate. I was going to make up the list, but my mind is on
documentation today. (STILL! Auggghhh!) Once non-FSF, non-FD sponsored
projects begin seeing DotGNU mentioned in the documentation of those
products, they will hopefully recognize how to use DotGNU in their
products.

Since it's Linux/GNU that most commercial distributions market, we have
a backdoor into the distributions as well.

Do you think that's a good way to approach integration? Influence
applications already under our control?
