The wiki files are not stored in a DB usually, they are just plain text files with and RCS file (,v) as well.The main problem I see with Wiki formats is that they don't seem to allow for ready separation of tools from data. The difference between docs in SGML and docs in Wiki-format is about the same as between application data in a database and application data in files (albeit the desired state is reversed here). Files are easily moved to and reused at another machine. DBs are not without special tools. Karsten
