i suggest adding a 3rd paragraph to that User's Guide section:

  Some sites -- in ignorance of Lynx capabilities -- may tell you
  (eg) "to view this page you need Netscape Navigator".
  You can simply ignore such warnings and access the frames
  via the Lynx-generated links as above.

this should be added to the help files for 2-8;
possibly you might add the recent postings to your FAQ files.
