Those are terrible.
Then you have serious problems, not of gpsd's making.

Not fair to count your overhead against gpsd's.  Most of what you
install to build gpsd is the compiler chain.  All targets have that
overhead.

non-sequiter.  Proper or not, reproduceable or not, that is just
bad.  But not my problem, one of your own  making.

If you have idea on how to make gpsd building better, send them in.
All gpsd can do it fix its own problems, not yours.
