I set it at 11kb/s, stats give me 10.56kb/s (128kbps uplink btw)...

But I can't set it much higher without getting backlogs, and that's bad for
connecting to servers :(

So yes, there must be some overhead, but I don't know how much can be gained
by connections scheduling optimisations, protocol compression, sources
propagation on demand,...

What really kills our performance is eMule, because we now have to try
*many* peers before getting any data.
